After a break I went for a lip smacking Foodprowl food tasting at The Ugly Duckling on Baner Pashan Link road. With the re-organized menu these guys have come up with dishes that will make you drool and as you already know they are famous for their smoked meat be it chicken, Lamb, Duck or Pork. Calm and quite place where you can chill and have good food and drinks.
FOOD:
We started off with BBQ and Buffalo wings both were awesome I loved the Buffalo wings more as it had that zingy flavor to it. Bacon cheesy wedges and Onion Rings were good in taste but crispier the better. Chimichurri Chicken Chimichurri sauce does the magic here and the well cooked chicken makes it a great dish to have. Smoked pork/Duck/Chicken with gravy Well let’s not go in the perspective of how well or how good the meat was because everything that is smoked is delicious. Pork really well cooked and the gravy went really well with it so is the case with the chicken but for me the duck was the winner as the perfection with which the duck was cooked it was really amazing. Shepherd’s pie Another highly recommended dish particularly the tangy flavor in the pie and the meat went so well with together it was yummm. Pizzas and Burgers were good needed few moderation which was well received. Frozen Hot Chocolate Devilicious is the word..Sinful chocolate when we had it was not that frozen due to electric power issue but trust me it will blow your mind. Bread Pudding Good soft pudding and the sauce.
Overall a great place whenever you want to have something smoked 🙂
